Some new icons are introduced along the edges of these new mats:

• The Civilization Complexity: Low Complexity, Medium Complexity, High Complexity. These icons are for guidance only—they have no in-game function.
• An icon indicating the revised mats. This icon is on each mat in this pack and helps you to distinguish the revised versions from the original versions.
• An icon indicating that a civilization mat is excluded from solo play.

All of the civilization mats in this pack can be used in your plays of Tapestry, even if you don't own a particular expansion. Note, however, that Urban Planners requires the use of landmark cards (included in Plans & Ploys and Arts & Architecture).

You are free to keep the original versions of your civilization mats. However, we strongly recommend that you use only the updated versions, as they provide the most balanced experience.

IMPORTANT: Please keep the original versions of the Historians, Islanders, and Mystics civilizations. They should be used instead of the revised versions when playing the solo campaign (The Fate of Atlantis) from the Plans & Ploys expansion.
