Setting Up

  1. Shuffle the Meal cards and place them facedown to one side of the table.
  2. Shuffle the Crew cards and place them facedown in the center of the table.
  3. Draw six Crew cards and place them faceup next to the Crew deck.
  4. Have each player draw ten Meal cards into their hand. Don't let other players see what's in your hand!
  5. Shuffle the Crave Chips. Choose three per player at random, keeping them facedown, and put the rest back in the box.
  6. The player who ate Taco Bell most recently goes first. When in doubt, the youngest player goes first.

Cards

Meal Cards

There are three kinds of Meal cards: Menu Items, Sauce Packets, and Actions.

Use Menu Items to feed your crew.

Sauce Packets have an effect listed on the card. Except for the Fire Sauce Packet, only one Sauce Packet may be played per Crew. Any more would be flavor overload!

  • Diablo: Choose a Menu item. All Menu items you play this turn count as the chosen Menu item.
  • Fire!: Feed a second member of your crew. (You may play another Sauce Packet this turn.)
  • Hot: Take a Crave Chip this turn even if you didn't satisfy a craving.
  • (Mild): Use this card as any Menu item.

Actions let you do something special, like drawing extra Meal cards or choosing a Sauce Packet from the discard pile.

  • Freeze the Moment: Choose any player. They skip their next turn.
  • Tacos Every Day: Draw 2 Meal cards unless it's Tuesday. If it's Tuesday, you draw 5 Meal cards, and everyone else draws 2 Meal cards instead.
  • Keep it Saucy: Take a Sauce of your choice from the discard pile.
  • Taco Bell or Bust: Discard any number of faceup Crew cards. Replace them with new Crew.
  • Open Late: Choose a Menu item. If they have one in their hand, each player must give you 1 of that Menu item.

Crew Cards

These are the folks you need to feed!

  • Crew: They're hungry!
  • Point Value: How many points you'll get for feeding this Crew.
  • Hunger: What you need to feed them.
  • Craving: What they crave.

Crave Chips

Crave Chips give you bonus points for satisfying a Crew's specific craving. Keep the chip side faceup when you collect them!

The Crave Chip has a Chip side and a Points side. The Points side shows the bonus points (for example, 1 point).

On Your Turn

First, if you have any Action cards in your hand, you may pick one to play. Do what the card says.

Then, you may do one of two things:

Make a Taco Bell Run

Discard any number of cards from your hand, then draw cards until you have 10.

OR

Feed Your Crew

Discard Menu Item cards from your hand to satisfy the hunger of a Crew member. For example, to feed the Baja Besties (A, see below), you'll need any four Menu Items.

To feed a Supreme Superfan (B, see below), you'll need five of the same Menu Item. Once you discard the Menu Items, take the Crew card and put it facedown in front of you in a score pile.

Example Crew cards (see the card art on this page):

  • A. Baja Besties (4 points): Hunger: any 4 Menu Items.
  • B. Supreme Superfan (7 points): Hunger: 5 matching Menu Items.

While any combination of Menu Items matching the Crew's hunger will suffice, most Crew have a specific Menu Item they crave! Feed them with at least one of their specific craving to collect one of the facedown Crave Chips. Keep it next to your score pile with the point side down until the end of the game.

(Example: Drive Thru Diva, 3 points, hunger 3 matching Menu Items.)

After taking a Crew card (and Crave Chip if you satisfied a craving), draw a new Crew card to replace it. Your turn is now over.

Ending the Game

Once all Crave Chips have been collected, the game is over! Each player turns over all the Crave Chips and Crew they collected and counts up their points. The player with the most points wins!

If there is a tie, the player with the most points and Crave Chips wins. If there is still a tie, the tied players both win!

Scoring example:

  • Crew Points: 14 (Baja Besties 4, Drive Thru Diva 3, Supreme Superfan 7)
  • Crave Chip Points: 4 (three Crave Chips worth 1, 1 and 2)
  • Total: 18 points
