Hero Sides
Volkor can be played as either of two sides. Each side has its own character background, translated from the sheet.
Dragonflame. As Dragonflame, Volkor commands arcane powers as well as weapons. As a mage he controls fire magic far beyond what Drakonians are otherwise capable of, and he can even breathe fire, almost like a true dragon. The people he meets fear him and treat him badly because of his appearance, and he is a nightmare for the malicious creatures of the lands he travels.
Dragonheart. As Dragonheart, Volkor has left his homeland and travels the Talon Coast as a mercenary and healer. His appearance makes his enemies tremble, as do his poisonous breath and the huge swords he is able to wield. Yet he is a true blessing for the good people of the lands he travels.
Rules
All cards of this expansion are marked with the pack symbol. They may be added to the corresponding card decks from the base game. The Emporium cards included in this expansion may be used in any Sword & Sorcery Quest.
Legendary Abilities
Legendary abilities are especially powerful powers that are available to heroes from Soulrank VII onward. They can then be selected like other power cards.
Each legendary ability may be used only once per Quest.
Vastaryous' Lair: The Final Challenge
Face the final challenge of Sword & Sorcery and enter Vastaryous' Lair!
In this expansion you experience the most important moment of the hero campaign. Now that the spell binding their souls is broken, the heroes attain the highest Soulrank. Face a giant five-headed Dragon-Hydra with new legendary abilities and new equipment!
Vastaryous is a special final boss for a special, last Quest. She is controlled by several Enemy Scrolls, which represent her differently coloured dragon heads.
The heroes who defeat the Black Queen await a memorable ending.
