Hero Sides

Skeld can be played as either of two sides. Each side has its own character background, translated from the sheet.

Berserker. As a Berserker, Skeld must constantly fight against his bloodlust. His frenzy drives him into battle, and he fights with absolute cruelty. The sight of his own blood only fuels his rage further and strengthens his attacks.

Slayer. As a Slayer, Skeld lives only to hunt down and bring to ruin the most dangerous enemies he can find. No challenge is too great for this wild dwarven warrior, and retreat is not an option, for his motto is: "Fight to the bitter end."

Rules

All cards of this expansion are marked with the pack symbol. They may be added to the corresponding decks from the base game. The Emporium cards included in this expansion may be used in any Sword & Sorcery Quest.

Legendary Abilities

Legendary abilities are especially powerful powers that are available to heroes from Soulrank VII onward. They can then be selected like other power cards.

Each legendary ability may be used only once per Quest.

Conditions

This new condition follows the normal rules, with the following additions. Each condition marker has a front side and a back side.

Bleeding

On heroes:

  • At the start of each of the hero's activities, the hero suffers 1 wound. This does not apply to Free Action activities.
  • The marker is flipped in the next Time Phase and removed in the Time Phase after that.
  • The condition therefore lasts 2 Rounds, unless it is removed earlier.

On enemies:

  • At the start of each of the enemy's activations, the enemy suffers 1 wound.
  • The marker is flipped in the next Time Phase and removed in the Time Phase after that.
  • The condition therefore lasts 2 Rounds, unless it is removed earlier.
