Hero Sides
Onamor can be played as either of two sides. Each side has its own character background, translated from the sheet.
Necromancer. Since his mother died giving birth to him, Onamor was accused of murder by his father and cast out. Spellbooks were the only companions of his youth, which he spent alone, haunted by thoughts of death. The many years he devoted to the study of the secret arts have changed Onamor. He has sacrificed everything to become a Necromancer, and he is able to raise the dead and command them with his will.
Summoner. Onamor grew up surrounded by magic and began his study of the arcane arts early. One day a demonologist summoned a demon that his father had once banished before. But the vengeful demon killed the careless summoner and swore revenge. Afterwards Onamor had to watch as this demon killed his parents. Since then Onamor has devoted himself to summoning, and he uses the demons he commands as weapons against their own kind. "Fight fire with fire" is Onamor's motto.
Rules Additions
All cards of this expansion are marked with the following symbol. They can be added to the corresponding card decks from the base game. The Emporium cards can be used in any Sword & Sorcery Quest. On sword-and-sorcery.com you will find the "Sword & Sorcery" app and further content.
Legendary Abilities
Legendary abilities are especially powerful abilities that heroes only have access to from Soulrank VII onward. They can then be selected like other ability cards.
Legendary abilities can only be used once per Quest.
Companions
Clarifications on companions (as a supplement to pp. 28f. of the Rulebook):
- Once a companion has been summoned, it cannot be voluntarily removed from the map.
- A hero cannot perform an Action activity to prepare a companion's attack.
- The activation of a companion cannot be interrupted by other actions of the hero.
- Companions can be supported by hero abilities (for example, Thorgar's "Bless").
- Companions with a Hero Count of 1 or more count as heroes (for example, when enemies appear through event cards).
- Companions count as heroes for enemies, but they can never become the Menacing Hero for vengeful Master Enemies.
Fire
When a Fire token is placed in an area, all figures in that area immediately suffer the corresponding Fire effect.
