Contents

  • 8 Reference Cards
  • 8 Bake Sale Cards
  • 63 Dessert Cards
  • 2 Winner Cards (for victory pics)

Setup

Prepare and Shuffle Dessert Cards

  • 2-3 Players: Remove 7 Chocolates, 7 Popsicles, the Chocolate Popsicle, 7 Pies, 7 Ice Creams, and the Pie & Ice Cream card, leaving 33 cards.
  • 4-5 Players: Remove 7 Chocolates, 7 Popsicles, and the Chocolate Popsicle, leaving 48 cards.
  • 6-8 Players: Shuffle all 63 Dessert Cards.

Deal

  • Deal each player 7 Dessert Cards facedown.
  • Give each player a Bake Sale Card and a Reference Card.
  • Go ahead and look at your Dessert Cards.
  • Whoever most recently ate a donut goes first.

Goal

Get the most points by collecting multiple desserts of the same kind.

Scoring

To get your final score, add up the Total Coin Value of all 7 of your cards. Then add any bonus points for:

  • 2 of a kind = 4 pts
  • 3 of a kind = 7 pts
  • 4 of a kind = 14 pts
  • 5 of a kind = 17 pts
  • 6 Sweet 6! = 22 pts

Dessert card Coin Values as printed on the scoring illustration: Pie 1 (Apple's great!), Pie 2 (Pumpkin's perfect!), Pie & Ice Cream 0 (counts as Pie and as Ice Cream), Ice Cream 2, Cupcake 4, Chocolate 2, Strudel 2.

Example: Tim's example hand is first summed for coins: 1 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 13 points. Then add bonus points for matching desserts. It looks as though he only has 2 Pies, but the Pie & Ice Cream card is special: it counts as Pie AND Ice Cream, so Tim has 3 Pie and 2 Ice Cream. Referring to the Scoring card, add 4 + 7 = 11 points. Total = 24 points.

Note: There are 7 of each dessert: 3 1-coin, 2 2-coin, 1 3-coin, and 1 4-coin.

On Your Turn

  1. Offer a Dessert: Pick a dessert you are not collecting and say (only) the name of it.
  2. Bidding: Going clockwise, players can Pass or Bid. A bid is a coin value on one card in your hand that you are willing to swap with the offered dessert (from 0 to 5 Coins).
  3. Continue circling, allowing matching bids or bid increases (raises), until there is a winner -or- multiple players are offering the same high bid.
  4. Swap: Secretly swap cards with the winner -or- players with tied high bids must reveal the desserts on their cards. The player offering gets to choose which card they want.

Example (using the above hand in a 4 player game: Shawn, Jillian, Tim, and April):

  1. Shawn, on his turn, offers a Pie.
  2. Jillian bids 1, Tim raises to 2, and April passes.
  3. Jillian matches the 2, Tim does not raise (he has no 3, and likes his 4 coin Cupcake).
  4. Jillian and Tim reveal their desserts to all players: a Donut and a Strudel.
  5. Shawn chooses the Strudel, secretly swapping his Pie for Tim's Strudel.

Drawing

If everyone passes, discard the dessert faceup and draw a new one. Bake Sales also allow drawing.

Continue Play

Clockwise, But!

At any point, if a player gets 6 of a kind, they should immediately shout "Sweet Six!" and the game ends. All players then calculate their points. Most points wins! Tie? The player with the most Coins wins! Still tied? Share your Sweet Victory!

Bake Sale

Once per player per game you can start a Bake Sale. It's a way to shake things up -or- keep your hand!

The Bake Sale steps (printed on the Bake Sale Card):

  1. Draw a card.
  2. Discard any card face up.
  3. Next player Takes it or Passes.
  4. Take? They go to step 2. Pass? Go to step 3.
  5. If all players pass, the bake sale is over. Flip this card over and continue play.

Closing Early

As an alternate way of ending the game, at the start of your turn you can vote to Close Early. If all players agree (it has to be unanimous), the game ends immediately. If not, take your turn normally.

Special Cards

  • Strudel Cupcake: There are 4 Hybrid Cards! Great for matching, less great for coins (all worth 0). This card counts as Strudel or Cupcake.
  • Sprinkles: A wild card, this can count as any dessert. Which one is up to the player. Worth 0 coins.
  • Grab & Go: Interrupt any bidding or a bake sale to swap this card for a dessert. Worth 0 coins.
  • Mochi: Worth 5 points, but there is only one in the whole deck.

Notes

  • Always end your turn with 7 cards in your hand.
  • All swaps are 1 card for 1 card.
  • Only say the dessert name when offering.
  • Only say the coin value when bidding.
  • Passed on a dessert in a Bake Sale? If the dessert changes, you can take it on your next turn.
  • Grab & Go: If you interrupt a player and swap for the discarded card from a Bake Sale, that player can now take the Grab & Go - or pass.
