Components
- 2 extra Adventurer meeples in each color, marked with a "heart shaped" symbol on the bottom (the BFF meeples)
Setup
Replace your Adventurers with a value of 1 by the two BFF meeples of your color. Set up and play the game as usual.
Gameplay
The game is played the same way as usual.
Best Friends Forever

At the end of the game, check your meeples on the Rescue Islands. If you saved both of your Adventurers with a value of 1 of the same color, score 12 points!
If you only saved one, or if both died, the scoring is the normal amount.
The rest of your saved Adventurers score normally.
Transcriber note: the BoardGameGeek item description for this expansion says that a player who saved only one (or none) of the two BFF Adventurers scores 0 points for them. The card says the scoring is the normal amount. This transcription follows the card. The conflict is not resolved here.
