Can I place figures on several different locations in a single placement turn?

No. On each turn you pick one location and put one or more figures there (two on the Hut), then the next player goes. Placement circles around the table until everyone has placed all figures. Each Civilization card and Building tile is its own location, so you take several of them over several turns.
