Scenario 1: A New Belief

Scenario 1 Setup Card (TT1-1/3)

Tile layout diagram: Tiles 1 to 5 are shown on the card.

  • Whenever Monsters activate, they move towards either the nearest Blue Quest token and will attack it or a player carrying the token and attack the player. Otherwise, normal Monster Attack rules apply, if there are eligible targets.
  • If Monsters are Spawned, place them on a Spawn point closest to a Blue Quest token or a player carrying one.
  • Distribute Level 1 Upgrade tokens randomly and equally to all players. During the Upgrade Phase, use Level 2 Upgrade tokens instead.

Scenario 1 Monster Setup

The Monster Setup panel pairs each Enemy Rank icon with the Monster placed:

  • Red single-chevron rank icon: Thornetrooper
  • Red double-chevron rank icon: Random
  • Purple single-diamond rank icon: Thorne Commando

Scenario 1 Setup (TT1-2/3)

  • Place 1 Blue Quest token on each Computer Terminal in Tiles 2 and 4.

Reward: 3 Victory tokens.

Quest 2: Send a Message (TT1-3/3)

PVE Quest

  • Blue Quest tokens have 5 Life and can now be collected. If both tokens are destroyed, the Scenario ends and no one receives Rewards; carry on to Scenario 2.
  • To rescue a Blue Quest token, players must end the activation of a Hero on their Shuttle while carrying the token.
  • This Quest is completed once all available Blue Quest tokens have been rescued.

Reward: 3 Victory tokens per Blue Quest token rescued.

Scenario 2: The Command Pays Back

Scenario 2 Setup Card (TT2-1/3)

Tile layout diagram: Tiles 1 to 4 are shown on the card, with four colour-coded Crew spaces beside Tile 4.

  • Place 1 Thornetrooper on each Computer Terminal in Tiles 1, 2 and 3.
  • Place Uber Transport on the Computer Terminal in Tile 3.
  • Place 1 Thorne Commando on the Computer Terminal in Tile 1.

Special Rules:

  • During the Upgrade Phase, use Level 3 Upgrade tokens instead.
  • Tile 4 is inactive until Quest 1 is completed. Setup for Tile 4 will be revealed in Quest 2.

Scenario 2 Monster Setup

The Monster Setup panel pairs each Enemy Rank icon with the Monster placed:

  • Red single-chevron rank icon: Thornetrooper
  • Purple single-diamond rank icon: Uber Transport
  • Purple double-diamond rank icon: Thorne Commando

Quest 1: Help the Rebels (TT2-2/3)

PVE Quest

  • The first player to have their Shuttle overlap their Heroes, completes this Quest.

Special Rules:

  • Players cannot move, and must roll 3 dice showing the red-and-grey die-face icon during their turn. For each starburst icon rolled, their Shuttle moves 1 Space closer to their Heroes.

Reward: 6 Victory tokens.

Scenario 3: Return of the Taco

Scenario 3 Setup Card (TT3-1/3)

Tile layout diagram: Tiles 1 to 4 are shown on the card; the highlighted area for the Closed Door is a yellow bar between Tiles 2 and 4.

  • Place 1 Thornetrooper on each Computer Terminal in Tiles 1, 2 and 3.
  • Place Lt. Plasma on the Computer Terminal in Tile 2.
  • Place 1 Thorne Commando on each Computer Terminal in Tiles 1 and 3.
  • Place Lord Dusk on the Computer Terminal in Tile 4.
  • Place a Closed Door on the highlighted area.

  • Purple single-diamond rank icon: Thorne Commando
  • Purple double-diamond rank icon: Lt. Plasma
  • Skull rank icon: Lord Tusk (as printed on the setup panel; the Scenario 3 setup text and the monster card both name this Villain Lord Dusk)

Quest 1: Dispose Henchmen (TT3-2/3)

PVE Quest

  • This Quest is completed when all Officers have been killed.

  • The first player to kill Lord Dusk completes this Quest.

Reward: 8 Victory tokens.

Scenario 4: Project Taco Dust

Scenario 4 Setup Card, Shuttle Rules

Special Rules:

  • In this Scenario, Players will be activating their Shuttles instead.
  • Shuttles Move and Attack, in this order.
  • Shuttles move up to 4 Space orthogonally forward or sideways, and cannot move backwards, and will fly over all obstacles including walls.
  • If a Shuttle reaches the furthest edge of the board, the Shuttle is moved back to its starting position at the end of activation.
  • Shuttles cannot attack other Shuttles, and can only attack Quest tokens (purple icon) within 3 Spaces of the Shuttle.
  • Shuttles have access to the Upgrade tokens of the Hero in the rear Space of the Shuttle. Since the Shuttle has its own range, any Weapon Upgrade can be used during an attack, along with any Boost Upgrade available.
  • Attacking unrevealed Quest tokens (purple icon) will reveal it. Specific Quest token (purple icon) effects will be explained in the Quest and cannot be collected or removed.

Scenario 4 Setup Card (TT4-1/2)

Tile layout diagram: Tiles 1 to 9 are shown on the card.

  • Shuffle facedown 1 Green Quest token, 1 Red Quest token and 6 Blue Quest tokens, then place 1 Quest token on each Computer Terminal in all Tiles.

Special Rules:

  • Gadgets and Portals will not be used in this Scenario.
  • Players will pilot their Shuttles through the Taco Star, attempting to destroy it. Heroes are placed on both Spaces of the Shuttle.

Quest 1: Defeat the Taco Star (TT4-2/2)

PVE Quest

  • The Taco Star has 30 Life.
  • The first player to destroy the Taco Star completes this Quest.
  • When attacking a Blue Quest token, normal Attack Results apply.
  • When attacking a Red Quest token, to instantly destroy the Taco Star, the attack must roll at least 8 starburst icons. If the player fails to do so, move the Shuttle to its starting position, and skip the player's next turn.
  • The Green Quest token triggers the following effect when attacked: Shuffle facedown all 8 Quest tokens on the board, then redistribute them among all the Computer Terminals.

Reward: 21 Victory tokens.

Monsters

Each monster card gives Defense (the shield icon, number of dice) and Ranged Attack (the gun icon, number of dice), then the ability.

Thornetrooper

  • Defense: 2
  • Ranged Attack: 7 dice
  • Terrible Aim: When attacking, Thornetrooper only Hits with starburst icons.

Thorne Commando

  • Defense: 1
  • Ranged Attack: 3 dice
  • Galvanize Troops: Other Monsters in the same Tile roll +2 dice of the grey chevron die-face icon.

Lt. Plasma

  • Defense: 4
  • Ranged Attack: 5 dice
  • Ranged Master: When attacking or defending against targets at least 3 Spaces away, Lt Plasma rolls +3 dice of the grey chevron die-face icon.

Uber Transport

  • Defense: 6
  • Ranged Attack: 4 dice
  • Uber Transport: Shoves when Moving.

Lord Dusk (Villain)

  • Heart icon: 8
  • Skull icon: 8
  • Defense: 4
  • Ranged Attack: 4 dice
  • A pink arrow-shaped icon with the number 5 is printed on the card. The card does not name it, so it is transcribed as printed. The heart and skull icons are likewise shown without names, and the card does not say which stat each one is.
  • Uncontrollable Cough: When defending, for each Save Lord Dusk rolls, the attacker suffers a Wound.

Heroes

Hero cards list Defense first, then Life, then the Ability.

Lt. Plasma (Hero card)

  • Defense: 3
  • Life: 3
  • Expert Markswoman: When attacking with a Ranged Weapon, she does not Exhaust her Weapon if she rolls any starburst icon.

Lord Dusk (Hero card)

  • Defense: 1
  • Life: 5
  • Use the Cough: He may Exhaust 2 Upgrades to Daze a target in Line of Sight.

Notes on the Source

  • The Hero card names are identified from the card art and the box count of two Hero cards, not from a printed set list. Verify against the box contents if a physical copy is available.
  • The Monster Setup panel for Scenario 3 prints "Lord Tusk" against the skull rank icon. This is transcribed as printed. The Scenario 3 setup text and the Lord Dusk monster card both name this Villain Lord Dusk.
  • Dice-face icons (grey chevron die face, red-and-grey die face, starburst) are described in words where the base rulebook does not name them. The base rulebook names Melee Hit, Ranged Hit, Save and CRIT faces; the card text does not name the icons used here.
  • Monster class and Enemy Rank values (Life, Overkill, Movement, Reward) for Trooper and Officer monsters are on the Monster Dashboard, which is not in the photographed source, so they are not transcribed here.
