The core rules and Rules Reference say six cards from each Item deck listed on the campaign log. When expansions are used, the revised rule (introduced with Jabba's Realm, per community posts) is to draw half the number of cards in that deck, rounded up, counted once at campaign start; items already bought do not reduce the count.
