Can a figure see another figure standing directly behind a single wall edge?
Under the original line-of-sight wording, yes: a lone wall edge could be traced past at its corners. The line-of-sight amendment in the FAQ (also used by the Legacy of the Ancients app) replaced this with a sweep between corners that must not cross a wall, so the figure behind the wall can no longer be seen. Use the amended rule; the printed Rules Reference text here predates it.
