Can a figure make a non-action attack, such as Jedi Luke's Heroic, from a space shared with another figure?

Several experienced players agree; no official ruling.

No. Under the FAQ change relayed in the threads, any attack, even one made without an action, requires the figure to have ended its movement in a legal space first, so Luke can't use Heroic from a space shared with another non-companion figure; movement points can be spent again after the attack. Non-attack abilities can still be used mid-move, and an older reading allowing the attack mid-move was superseded.
