Ship Cards

Each ship card shows, from top to bottom and left to right: hull value, anti-squadron armament, the command, squadron and engineering values, the speed chart, the defense tokens, the anti-ship armament by arc, the upgrade slots along the foot of the card, the ship size pictogram, and the points cost at bottom right.

Nebulon-B Escort Frigate

Faction: Rebel Size: not named on the card; shown only by the ship-silhouette pictogram at bottom left Points: 57 Hull: 5 Anti-squadron armament: 2 blue dice

Command: 2 Squadron: 2 Engineering: 3

Speed chart (columns are speed 1 to 4, read top to bottom; a red cell has no entry, and the printed symbols are reproduced as shown):

RowSpeed 1Speed 2Speed 3Speed 4
1redredred(shaded dark brown)
2redredII(shaded dark brown)
3redII(shaded dark brown)
4II–(shaded dark brown)

The speed-4 column is shaded dark brown in every row, which is not the red used for no-entry cells, and it prints no maneuver tool. The card does not state what the dark brown shading means.

Defense tokens: three tokens are shown in the green panel: one arrow-icon token, and two circular icons each with a pointed flare. The fourth slot is empty. The card does not name these tokens, so the names are not given here.

Anti-ship armament by arc (dice shown, and the number printed beside each arc):

  • Front arc: 2 red dice; printed number 3.
  • Left arc: 1 red die and 1 blue die; printed number 1.
  • Right arc: 1 red die and 1 blue die; printed number 1.
  • Rear arc: 2 red dice; printed number 2.

Upgrade slots (three circular slot icons along the foot of the card, pictograms only): a person silhouette, a crewman in a cap, and a turbolaser turret. These match the type icons of the Officer, Support Team and Turbolaser upgrade cards below. The card prints no slot names.

Nebulon-B Support Refit

Faction: Rebel Size: not named on the card; shown only by the ship-silhouette pictogram at bottom left Points: 51 Hull: 5 Anti-squadron armament: 1 blue die

Command: 2 Squadron: 1 Engineering: 3

Speed chart (identical to Nebulon-B Escort Frigate; columns are speed 1 to 4, read top to bottom):

RowSpeed 1Speed 2Speed 3Speed 4
1redredred(shaded dark brown)
2redredII(shaded dark brown)
3redII(shaded dark brown)
4II–(shaded dark brown)

The speed-4 column is shaded dark brown in every row, as on the Escort Frigate, with no maneuver tool printed.

Defense tokens: the same three icons as the Nebulon-B Escort Frigate: one arrow-icon token and two circular icons each with a pointed flare, with the fourth slot empty.

Anti-ship armament by arc (dice shown, and the number printed beside each arc):

  • Front arc: 2 red dice; printed number 3.
  • Left arc: 1 red die and 1 blue die; printed number 1.
  • Right arc: 1 red die and 1 blue die; printed number 1.
  • Rear arc: 2 red dice; printed number 2.

Upgrade slots: the same three circular slot icons as the Nebulon-B Escort Frigate (person silhouette, crewman in a cap, turbolaser turret).

Notes on the Ship Cards

  • Neither ship card prints ability text. The ship's behaviour is set by its speed chart, defense tokens, armament and the upgrade cards below.
  • The two ships differ in their command, squadron and anti-squadron values and in points cost. Command is 2 on both. Squadron is 2 on the Escort Frigate and 1 on the Support Refit. Engineering is 3 on both. Anti-squadron armament is 2 blue dice on the Escort Frigate and 1 blue die on the Support Refit. The anti-ship armament by arc, the hull value, the speed chart and the defense tokens are the same on both.

Upgrade Cards

Each upgrade card shows its name, a type icon at the bottom left, the points cost at bottom right, and the card text. Unique (ace) cards are marked with a bullet (•) before the name, as printed. Where a card's type is taken from its bottom-left icon, the icon is compared with the matching upgrade card type; where the card prints a keyword in italics above its text, that keyword is given as well.

Defense Liaison

Type: Officer Points cost: 3

Before you reveal a command, you may spend 1 command token to change that command to a [black swirl-in-ring command icon] or [half-shaded ring command icon] command.

Intel Officer

Type: Officer Points cost: 7

While attacking, after you roll your attack pool, you may exhaust this card to choose 1 defense token. If that token is spent during this attack, discard that token.

Engineering Team

Type: Support Team Points cost: 5

[half-shaded ring icon]: Gain 1 additional engineering point.

Engine Techs

Type: Support Team Points cost: 8 Header icon: a square icon with a circular arrow at top right, not described by the card text

[black swirl-in-ring icon]: After you execute a maneuver in which you did not overlap a ship, you may exhaust this card to execute a speed-1 maneuver.

Enhanced Armament

Type: Turbolaser (the type icon at bottom left is a turbolaser turret, the same icon as XI7 Turbolasers) Keyword: Modification Points cost: 10

Modification.

The battery armaments for your left and right hull zones are increased by 1 red die.

Salvation

Type: Title (the type icon at bottom left is a ship silhouette) Faction: Rebel Points cost: 7 Unique: yes

While attacking a ship from your front hull zone, your [crossed-strokes icon] icons count as 2 damage instead of 1.

XI7 Turbolasers

Type: Turbolaser Points cost: 6

While attacking, if the defender spends a [swirl-icon defense token] token, it cannot suffer more than 1 damage on each hull zone other than the defending hull zone when it resolves the [swirl-icon defense token] defense effect.

Yavaris

Type: Title (the type icon at bottom left is a ship silhouette) Faction: Rebel Points cost: 5 Unique: yes

[ring-with-mark command icon]: Each squadron you activate can attack twice if it does not move.

Transcription Notes

  • The card scans were read from the fan-wiki images listed in the sourcer's notes. Three of the scans (Intel Officer, Salvation and Yavaris) are small, so the pictograms in those cards are described by their shape rather than named.
  • The scans of Engine Techs and XI7 Turbolasers are the later printings. This transcription follows the wording printed on those scans. No comparison with an earlier printing was made.
