Ship Cards

Each ship card shows, from top to bottom and left to right: hull value, anti-squadron armament, the command, squadron and engineering values, the speed chart, the defense tokens, the anti-ship armament by arc with the shield value printed beside each arc, the upgrade slots along the foot of the card, the ship size icon, and the points cost at bottom right.

Quasar Fire I-class Cruiser-Carrier

Speed chart (columns are speed 1 to 3, read top to bottom; the speed 4 column is shaded grey and has no entry):

Anti-ship armament by arc (dice shown, and the printed shield value in the circle beside each arc):

  • Front arc: 3 blue dice; shield value 2.
  • Left arc: 2 blue dice; shield value 2.
  • Right arc: 2 blue dice; shield value 2.
  • Rear arc: 1 blue die; shield value 1.

Upgrade slots: four circular slot icons along the foot of the card (pictograms only: a figure silhouette and three further symbols; the card prints no slot names, so the slot types are not transcribed as text).

Quasar Fire II-class Cruiser-Carrier

Anti-ship armament by arc (dice shown, and the printed shield value in the circle beside each arc):

  • Front arc: 2 red dice and 1 blue die; shield value 2.
  • Left arc: 1 red die and 1 blue die; shield value 2.

Upgrade slots: four circular slot icons along the foot of the card, in the same layout as Quasar Fire I-class Cruiser-Carrier (pictograms only).

Notes on the Ship Cards

  • Neither ship card prints ability text. The ship's behaviour is set by its speed chart, defense tokens, armament and the upgrade cards below.
  • The two ships differ in their dice and points cost only. Quasar Fire I-class Cruiser-Carrier has blue anti-squadron and anti-ship dice; Quasar Fire II-class Cruiser-Carrier has a red anti-squadron die, two red dice in its front arc and one red die in each side arc, in place of blue dice. Hull, command, squadron, engineering, speed chart, defense tokens, shield values and the rear arc die are the same on both.
  • The Brückenkopf-Online Light Carrier article describes the shielding as two points on every side except the rear, which has one point; this matches the printed shield values above.
  • The Brückenkopf-Online Light Carrier article gives the top speed as 3, matching the speed chart, which has no speed 4 entry.
  • The green panel on the left of each ship card shows the defense tokens as icons. The card does not name these tokens, so the names are not given here.
  • The ship size is shown by an icon at the bottom left of the card, not as text.

Upgrade Cards

Each upgrade card shows its name, a type icon at the bottom left (where legible), the points cost at bottom right, and the card text. Unique (ace) cards are marked with a bullet (•) before the name, as printed.

Pursuant

Type: Title (not printed as text; the bottom-left icon is a black ship silhouette. The Title type is confirmed by the Brückenkopf-Online Light Carrier article, not by the card) Points cost: 2 Unique: yes

When you reveal a command other than a [squadron command icon] command, you may discard this card to resolve a [squadron command icon]. Treat this command as if you spent a [squadron command icon] dial.

Squall

Type: Title (not printed as text; the bottom-left icon is the same black ship silhouette as Pursuant. The Title type is confirmed by the Brückenkopf-Online Light Carrier article, not by the card) Points cost: 3 Unique: yes

When you activate, you may choose up to 3 unengaged friendly squadrons at close–medium range. Those squadrons may move up to distance 2. If they do, they cannot end their movement engaged.

Stronghold

Type: Title (not printed as text; the bottom-left icon is the same black ship silhouette as Pursuant. The Title type is confirmed by the Brückenkopf-Online Light Carrier article, not by the card) Points cost: 5 Unique: yes

While a friendly squadron with Swarm at distance 1–2 is defending, the attack is treated as obstructed.

Admiral Sloane

Type: not printed as text; the bottom-left icon is not legible on the card scan Points cost: 24 Unique: yes

While a friendly squadron without Rogue is attacking, it may spend 1 die with a [three-lobed icon] icon to choose and spend 1 of the defender's defense tokens. While attacking a ship, it may also reroll 1 die with a [three diagonal streaks icon] icon.

Boarding Troopers

Type: two slot icons at the bottom left, not named on the card. The SOURCE note for this pack identifies them as Weapons Team and Offensive Retrofit, so this is a dual-slot card; that identification is not printed on the card itself Points cost: 3 Copies: per the SOURCE note, two copies are in the box (transcribed here once)

When you reveal a command, you may discard a [command-dial icon] dial or token and this card to choose 1 enemy ship at close range. Choose and spend a number of its defense tokens up to your squadron value.

Disposable Capacitors

Type: one icon at the bottom left (a gauntlet-like hand symbol), not named on the card Points cost: 3 Copies: per the SOURCE note, two copies are in the box (transcribed here once)

Small or medium ship only.

When you activate, you may discard this card. If you do, the blue dice in your battery armament can be used while attacking ships at close–long range until the end of the round.

The Grand Inquisitor

Type: not printed as text; the bottom-left icon is a figure silhouette, not named on the card Points cost: 4 Unique: yes

When an enemy ship at distance 1–5 changes its speed, you may exhaust this card to increase or decrease your speed by 1.

Quad Battery Turrets

Type: Modification (printed in italics above the card text) Points cost: 5

Modification.

While attacking a ship with a higher speed than yours, you may add 1 blue die to your attack pool.

Notes on the Upgrade Cards

  • The bracketed icons are pictograms printed on the card. They are named here only by their appearance; their meaning is the one given by the base game's Rules Reference.
  • Upgrade type is shown on most cards only as a bottom-left icon. Where the card prints no type word, the type is given as not printed, and only the three Titles named in the Brückenkopf-Online Light Carrier article are identified as Titles.
  • The article names one non-Title upgrade in this pack as "the new officer upgrade" without naming the card, so no card is assigned the Officer type here.
  • The set of ten upgrades is the one the sourcer reconciled against the product shot and the article text; the scans themselves were not checked against a physical copy.
  • Card artist credits and flavour text are omitted.
