Traits

Holiday Luck (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). When Spurchia makes an ability check or saving throw, it can add a d10 to the roll. It can do this after the roll is made but before any of the roll's effects occur.

Innate Spellcasting. Spurchia, Festive Monster's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

  • At will: alter self, false life, levitate
  • 3/day each: ice knife, Rime's Binding Ice
  • 1/day each: Ice storm

Nimble escape. Spurchia, Festive Monster can take the Dash or Hide action as a bonus action on each of its turns.

Holiday Red Hat. (Item) Spurchia can go out of enemy reach, without provoking opportunity attack.

Scroll of naughty children (2/Day). You summon "naughty children" who appear in unoccupied spaces that you can see within range. Choose one of the following options for what appears:

  • One "Polar Bear"*
  • Two "Frostnibbler"*
  • Four "Yulegob"*
  • Eight "Gremlin"*

Actions

Multiattack. Spurchia makes two attack with Candy Cane+2 and one with Hidden stone in the Snowball or one with Coal Rain.

Candy Cane+2. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) slashing damage. If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, Spurchia can't use its Candy Cane on another target. If the Candy Cane makes a critical hit, the user may choose instead of doing the doubled damage to heal himself by 2 Hit-Dice plus 2.

Hidden stone in the snowball. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 4) 7 damage. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (CD 15) or be stunned until the end of your next turn.

Coal Rain (Recharge 5-6). Spurchia magically summons a Coal Rain that fills a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on a point Spurchia can see within 60 feet of itself. The cloud spreads around corners. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw as the rain of Coal begins to fall. On a failed save, a creature takes 26 (4d12) fire damage and has the prone condition. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage only.

Legendary Actions

You can take 3 legendary action(s), choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. You regain spent legendary actions at the start of your turn.

Bully. (Costs 1 Action) Spurchia places himself without expending movement near an enemy and makes an attack with Candy Cane+2.

Oh, oh, oh!. (Costs 2 Actions) Spurchia makes an attack with Hidden stone in the snowball and become invisible until is next turn.

Mock. (Costs 2 Actions) Spurchia offends a hero with his festive spirit. On the next attack roll that hero subtracts 1d10 from the result.

Inciting the crowd. (Costs 3 Actions). All of Spurchia's allies move of their movement without causing opportunity attacks.

Festive Summon*
