Game Idea
What a lot of fun! The rabbits are ready for a lively water fight. The colorful water balloons hit their targets with a splish and a splash. Who has the skill to aim well and hit the rabbits with the water balloons? Every hit counts. But not only that, even water balloons in the catapulted colors gain points.
Preparations
Place the seven rabbits in the center of the table. The closer they are together the easier it will be to hit them. Place the water balloons at some distance away from the catapult and prepare the catapult!
How to Play
Play in a clockwise direction. Who has most recently had a water fight? You may start and take the catapult.
Choose one water balloon and pick it up, without looking at its back. Adjust the catapult however you like and place the water balloon on the lower end of the catapult. Now press the upper end of the catapult with some gusto so that the water balloon is catapulted away. Before starting to play for the first time everybody should practice using the catapult.
Where did the water balloon land?
- The water balloon landed somewhere between the rabbit tiles. What a pity, you are left empty handed, and your water balloon remains where it is.
- The water balloon lands on a rabbit or is touching a rabbit tile. Fantastic, this water balloon belongs to you! If there are already water balloons of the same color lying around the rabbit tiles you can also collect those matching tiles and keep them.
Example: The blue water balloon is catapulted onto the rabbit in the middle. The player receives the three blue water balloons.
Then it's the next player's turn. Pass the catapult to next player.
End of the Game
The game ends as soon as the last water balloon has been catapulted. Each player now counts their water balloons. The player with the most water balloons wins. In the case of a draw there are various winners.
Hint
Always keep an eye on the water balloons lying around the rabbit tiles. Maybe the next water balloon you catapult should be of one of these colors!
