Components

  • 20 Snowman Dice
  • 1 North Pole Marker

Objective

Players win by building Snowmen and returning them to the North Pole. This is accomplished by rolling dice, stacking them on top of each other to form a Snowman, and pushing the stack of dice towards the North Pole in the middle of the table.

Game Setup

Place the North Pole Marker in the center of play area. Players should be able to easily reach the North Pole Marker with their finger. Each player takes 5 dice. Each player sets their 5 dice in front of them.

How to Play

Each player starts by picking up all their dice with one hand. Players may use only one hand during the game. Players start by counting "1, 2, 3, SNOW!" Upon saying "SNOW", the players roll their dice together on the table to start the round. The players then simultaneously create Snowmen.

  • If a player rolls a Bottom piece (or a Wild), they can use it to start building their Snowman.
  • If a player rolls a Middle piece (or a Wild), they can place it on top of the Bottom piece.
  • If a player rolls a Head (or a Wild), they can place it on top of the Middle piece forming a Snowman of three dice.
  • Note: A Wild may be used as every piece when building a Snowman.
  • If a player has completed their Snowman, and rolls an Arrow, the player then puts one finger at the bottom of the Snowman (bottom die), says "Look at the Snowman go!" and then starts pushing their Snowman towards the North Pole Marker.
  • A player may use only one finger to push the Snowman.
  • If any pieces fall off, the player must rebuild their Snowman by re-rolling all of their dice.

Snowball — If a player rolls a Snowball, the player may flick the die at an opposing player's Snowman. The Snowball may be placed and flicked from anywhere on the table. If the player successfully hits another player's Snowman with the Snowball and knocks off any pieces, the entire Snowman is considered ruined and must be rebuilt by re-rolling all of the dice.

Re-rolling — Players may grab any amount of their dice and re-roll them at any time.

Note: If a die ever falls off of the table the game does not stop. The player whose die it is must pick it up while every other player continues playing.

End of the Round

If a player's Snowman reaches the North Pole without having any of the pieces fall off, the player says "Freeze" and the round ends. If more than one player's Snowman reaches the North Pole at the same time, they all score.

Scoring

  • At least 1 Wild piece used to build it: 1 point
  • No Wild pieces used to build it: 2 points

If no player has reached 3 points, all players start another round.

End of the Game

The first player who has scored 3 points, wins the game.
