The Card

N°1 L.A.D.A.S. (lost)

  • Card type: Train card (a No.1 L.A.D.A.S. variant). The card is part of the Train cards and is bought and owned under the Train rules in the Snowdonia rulebook.
  • Printed title: "N°1 L.A.D.A.S." with "(lost)" printed underneath.
  • Printed symbols and text, top to bottom:

Victory point bonus

  • Printed: "If [icon] + 9".
  • The [icon] is a brown cube with a red X drawn over it. Unresolved: the printed card does not say what this condition is, and the base rulebook does not define a brown cube with a red X. Do not apply it as a rule until the printed meaning is confirmed.
  • The "+ 9" is a gold victory point tile showing 9. The gold tile is read as a victory point token; the base rulebook gives this value as "9 victory points" (see No.4 Snowdon). The meaning of the gold tile is inferred from that comparison, not printed on this card.
  • Reads as a conditional bonus: if the condition shown by the crossed brown cube applies, add 9 victory points to the owner's score.

Action Area G

  • Printed: "G = [icon]".
  • "G" is the Action Area label printed on the board (Action Areas A to G). In the base rulebook, Action Area G is the Move the Surveyor action.
  • The [icon] is a brown cube with a red arrow pointing away from it. Unresolved: the printed card does not say what this effect is, and the base rulebook does not define a brown cube with a red arrow. Do not apply it as a rule until the printed meaning is confirmed.

Components

  • Printed: "comes with" followed by three brown cubes.
  • Unresolved: the base rulebook says a Train comes with Coal (black cubes), and Rubble is the small brown cube. The brown cubes on this card match the Rubble colour, not the Coal colour. Which resource these cubes are, and whether the card is supplied with them, cannot be confirmed from the printed card. Do not assume they are Coal.
  • The card does not print the temporary Labourer ability found on the other base Train cards, so none is transcribed here.
