The Card
The Candace Camille
- Card type: Train card (a locomotive). It is part of the Train cards and is bought and owned under the Train rules in the Snowdonia rulebook.
- Printed title: "The Candace Camille", across the top of the card.
- Printed on the engine: "THE CANDACE CAMILLE" and "N° 3110".
- Printed symbols and text, top to bottom:
Card corner symbol
- A dark bar is printed in the top-left corner.
- Unresolved: the printed card does not say what this symbol means. It may mark the card type, as the Train cards do in the base game, but this cannot be confirmed from the card. It looks like the black rod "Steel Bar" in the base rulebook, but no rule on the card links it to Steel Bars. Do not apply it as a rule until its printed meaning is confirmed.
Track and shovel
- Printed: a grey disc, then "=", then a track icon and a shovel icon.
- The track icon and the shovel icon match the two sides of a Track card in the base rulebook (the track side and the shovel side), and the shovel is the Excavate symbol used on the Station cards.
- Unresolved: the printed card does not say what the grey disc stands for, or what having the disc means in play. The equation is transcribed as printed. Do not apply it as a rule until its printed meaning is confirmed.
Pawn
- Printed: a black cube, then "=", then a grey pawn.
- Unresolved: the printed card does not say what the pawn stands for. In the base rulebook the pawns are Labourers and Surveyors, which look the same. The black cube is the Coal colour in the base rulebook. Trains in the base rulebook let the owner pay one Coal for a temporary Labourer, but this card does not print that rule, so the link is not transcribed as a rule.
Next
- Printed: a black cube, then "=", then a grey disc labelled "next".
- Unresolved: the printed card does not say what the "next" disc does or what the black cube pays for it. The base rulebook has a Surveyor who moves on to the next Station card, but the card does not link to that action. Do not apply it as a rule until its printed meaning is confirmed.
Components
- Printed: "comes with" followed by one black cube.
- The base rulebook prints "Comes with one Coal." on each Train card, and Coal is the black cube. The black cube here is therefore read as one Coal: the card comes with one Coal cube from the Coal supply, placed on the card as the base Train rules describe.
Corner emblem
- A small gold emblem is printed in the bottom-right corner, beside the "comes with" line.
- Unresolved: the emblem is not text and is not explained by the card or the base rulebook. It is not transcribed as a rule.
