The Goal of the Game
Get more points than your opponent at the end of the game.
Set Up
- Shuffle 20 cards, place 1 card face-up in front of each player. (There is a placing area in front of each player called "Warehouse".)
- Deal 1 card to each player.
- Flip up 3 cards aside as "Supply".
- Put remaining 13 cards next to Supply as "Draw pile".
- The player who has moved a box recently is the start player.
Example of set up (illustration): Player A's hand card and Player A's Warehouse, Player B's hand card and Player B's Warehouse, the Supply of three cards, and the Draw pile.
Game Play
- During your turn, you choose one card from Supply or from your hand, place it into your Warehouse. Two Warehouse are independent and will not disturb each other.
- If you choosed to place the card from your hand, then you draw a card from Supply.
- Flip up a card from Draw pile and put it into Supply, there are always 3 cards in Supply.
- When there are less than 3 cards in Supply, the game ends. In other words, there will be 8 cards in each Warehouse.
Place a Card into Warehouse
- The squares on card must align with those in Warehouse.
- The card maybe overlapped on the cards in Warehouse, and the squares have to be aligned as pictures below.
Illustrated: a card may overlap another entire card in Warehouse (valid).
Illustrated: the squares can't be oblique or stagger (invalid).
Scoring
Score your points according to the rules below, if there is tie, the player with less empty boxes in his Warehouse wins.
Every kind of merchandise are scored seperately in a Warehouse.
A merchandise is scored if it has connected at least 4 squares.
Note. Diagonal squares are NOT connected.
The points of a merchandise is equal to "the number of squares of the biggest connected block" multiplied "the number of blocks". This just too hard to understand, let's check the picture below.
Example (Cotton): The number of squares of biggest connected block is 7 (in red frame), and the number of blocks is 4 (the red frame plus 3 blue frame), so the points of Cotton is 7 x 4 = 28.
Note. One square also counts as a block.
Note. It's hard to make every merchandise scored.
If there is a tie in this example, then the empty boxes are 8 (in black frame). The empty square is not an empty box.
