How many weapons can a crew member have equipped, given that the designer and publisher answers differ?

Unsettled. The designer said in 2021 that any crew member can have any number of weapons, while other adventure cards (even armor) stay in a shared pool. The publisher said in 2022 that each crew member has one extra equipped weapon besides the one on their crew board. In both versions you pick one weapon for each attack, the stats never add together, and weapons change hands only outside combat. Any player may equip a bought weapon, with the Captain's player settling disputes.
