What does the Stone of Time do — does it skip the event draw, and can it be abused?
The designer answered this directly in 2021.

Stone of Time makes you ignore the effects of the event card you drew that turn; you still draw and read it. The designer changed it from skipping the draw because the original wording allowed an endless command loop. A French-edition reader reported a printing that still has the original text.
