When a story says "restore 2 health" or "restore 6 health", is that total or per crew member?
The designer answered this directly in 2020.

In total, split among the crew however the active player wishes, unless the text says "each". Restoring health and removing damage are the same effect, and the game uses "restore health" throughout.
