Only effects that say so remove statuses: crew abilities, certain adventure cards, tea-type items, or story text. The port Healer and Inn restore health (and the Inn fatigue) but leave statuses such as Venom on the crew member. Fatigue is removed by resting, the Galley or the Inn.
