When an enemy is defeated, do the remaining enemies slide together, and can a defeated enemy be regenerated?

Yes, the defeated enemy is removed and the others close the gap, so it can no longer be revived by an adjacent Regenerate ability. An enemy that becomes newly adjacent can be healed by regeneration. Each printed Adjacent Regen ability resolves separately at end of round.
