A counterattack hits the crew member who attacked, and all of its damage goes to that one character; if they run out of health the remainder goes to another crew member. In the end-of-round phase the active player chooses which crew member each surviving enemy attacks, so attacks can be spread or concentrated; each enemy's damage still goes to one character at a time.
