If my attack misses, do I still deal damage?

Yes — a miss still puts 1 damage on the enemy, after its counterattack, so a persistent misser always chips away at least 1 damage. An effect that adds damage on a miss (Kasumi's Counter, Rapid Strike) adds to that 1. You cannot, however, discard equipped ability cards to add damage on a miss, since the weapon itself missed; synergy tokens and other damage not tied to the weapon can still be added. The miss damage is still dealt if the counterattack knocks the attacker to 0 health, although one reply disagrees.
