Components

6 cards, each depicting 2 skulls. The skulls are distributed as follows:

  • Champions x5
  • Royals x1
  • Peasants x2
  • Priests x1
  • Romantics x2
  • Criminals x1

Gameplay

Shuffle into the base game and play. Once you have completed your stack you no longer take any more turns. At some player counts, unplayed cards may remain in the graveyard or in hands at the end of the game.

To play with 4 players: Create stacks with 3-card bottom rows, as in the 3-player game.

Terminology

Connected: Another skull is connected to the skull being scored if it is adjacent to it, or can be reached by a series of one or more adjacent skulls of the same type.

1 Point per Connected (Skull Type)

Champions want to be next to groups of their supporters. Each scores 1 point for each connected skull of that Champion's specific skull type.

Example: The Royal Champion on level 6 scores 1 point (1 point for the connected Royal). The Peasant Champion on level 1 scores 2 points (1 point for each of the connected Peasants). The combined score for Champions is 3.
