Tutorial
Setup
Randomly choose a player to be the Clue Giver. All the other players are the Guessers.
- Shuffle the Picture cards and randomly draw 9 cards. Place them face-up in front of the Clue Giver, creating a 3 by 3 grid.
- Shuffle the Trap position cards. The Clue Giver draws 1 card and checks the Trap picture secretly.
- The player icon on the Trap card is oriented towards the Clue Giver. (Example: the Trap picture is no. 1.)
- Give 1 Hint tile of your comfortable language (put the other tile back to the box) and 2 Pass cards to the Clue Giver.
- Access the website below with mobile or PC. (showmeyoursound.com or QR code)
- Press the "GAME START" button on the website.
Game Plays
Press the "GAME START" button to play a sound.
The Clue Giver gives a clue to the Guessers by choosing the side of the Hint tile.
- If the sound is more related to the Trap picture, put the Hint tile on the red side. (Red side: "This sound is MORE related to the Trap picture" / "Flip the Picture card which is LEAST related to this sound.")
- If the sound is less related to the Trap picture, put the Hint tile on the blue side. (Blue side: "This sound is LESS related to the Trap picture" / "Flip the Picture card which is MOST related to this sound.")
Note:
- No one can speak before the Clue Giver puts the Hint tile on the table.
- After the Clue Giver puts the Hint tile, the Guessers can talk freely. But the Clue Giver can't speak because it can be also a hint.
- Any player can press the speaker icon to hear the sound again, at any time, as many times as they need.
Now the Guessers analyze the Hint tile and discuss. The Guessers flip 1 Picture card that they believe is NOT the Trap picture. If it's not decided by a majority vote, the player to the left of the Clue Giver decides which card to flip.
Flip the Picture card and proceed as follows:
- A. If the flipped card is the Trap picture, all players immediately lose the game.
- B. If the flipped card is NOT the Trap picture, they continue to the next round. The Clue Giver presses the "NEXT SOUND" button and repeats the process above.
How to Win
If the last Picture remaining face-up is the Trap position card, all players win!
Pass Card
The Clue Giver may use a Pass card before placing a Hint tile on the table. Remove 1 Pass tile and press the "NEXT SOUND" button to play a new sound.
If the Clue Giver has used 2 Pass tiles already, they can't use it anymore during the game.
