Variant 1
Use the side of the board marked "Rundy" (Rounds).
This variant introduces a varied payout for writing the winning answer (instead of $300, as in the base game) and counts down the length of the game.
Place on each space dollar tokens equal to the round number x 100: on space 1 – $100, on space 2 – $200, on space 3 – $300, and so on.
The player who writes the winning answer (the answer closest to the correct one without exceeding it) takes the bonus from the board for the current round. In the first round this is $100, in the second round $200, and so on.
If none of the players' answers is the winning answer, return the tokens from the space of the current round to the supply.
The game ends after the tokens are taken from space 7 (after the end of round 7).
Variant 2
Use the side of the board marked "Kurs 10 do 1" (Odds 10 to 1).
This variant introduces new spaces that may be bet on only with the players' plastic tokens.
After the players write their answers, but before they reveal them, they may bet on the player whom they think wrote the winning answer.
Players place their tokens on the Vegas board, on the space in the colour of the player they are betting on (players may bet on themselves).
A player may place:
- 2 tokens on 1 player,
- 1 token each on 2 different players,
- 1 token, or none, if the player wants to keep tokens for betting on answers later.
Players who bet on the player who wrote the winning answer at the end of the round receive a payout from the bank according to the 10 to 1 odds. For example, if a player bet $100, they receive $1000 from the bank.
Plastic tokens return to their owners at the end of the round.
