The game contains 25 tokens: 12 rocks, 5 horses, 5 lassos and 3 binoculars.
Setup
Shuffle the tokens and place them face down on the board so that they cover every space except the five spaces of the Corral.
How to Play
Play proceeds clockwise. On their turn, a player takes one of the following actions:

Flip a token. If it is a rock, place it on the space that has the same number as the rock. If it is a horse, leave it face up on that same space. If it is a lasso or binoculars, place it next to the board to use later.

Move a horse. You may move a horse to any space, but without passing over a rock or a face-down token that has not been flipped.

Use binoculars. If someone has found the binoculars earlier, you may use them to look at a face-down token (even one with a rock on top of it), and then leave that token as it is. Discard the binoculars after using them.

Use a lasso. If someone has found a lasso earlier, you may use it to remove a rock lying face up. Discard the lasso after using it.
End of Game
The game ends when all 5 horses have been moved onto the 5 spaces of the Corral. The players win.
If no action can be taken in any turn, the players lose.
