Can I shuffle expansion treasures into a base-game-only play?

Yes, but remove any treasure that depends on content you are not using, such as ones that mention Influence, guilds or monuments. Four Alliances treasures stand alone and three more only need power skulls, but Crystal Shield refers to Influence, so it needs the expansion. Check each card's text before shuffling it in.
