Is the one-corruption limit per quest or per room in a dungeon?
The designer said the limit applies per room.

Per room. If a later room also cannot be fully resolved, you take another corruption. Every room's cost must be dealt with on entering (you may spend an Advantage toward it) before you decide to leave or continue, and leaving still earns the 2 spirit.
