Can I use Covenant heroes, treasures or corruptions in a base-game session?

Yes. Any hero from either expansion works in a base game without selecting the expansion in the app, and corruptions and many treasures can be used in any game. Covenant's own features (monuments, doom skulls, wastelands) must be used together and are left out of competitive mode.
