The Cards

The set contains three Objective cards. None of them prints a name on its face; they are labelled below by their illustration. Each card has four claim spaces, read from top to bottom, and one bonus panel.

Pig Card

Claim spaces (top to bottom):

  1. 7: Wood token icon (brown log disc) with the number 7.
  2. 8: Wood token icon with the number 8.
  3. 9: Wood token icon with the number 9.
  4. 10: Wood token icon with the number 10.

Bonus panel: a brown pictogram (a brown silhouette with an arrow pointing right; not interpreted, see Notes) and a gold shield with the number 5.

Crow Card

Claim spaces (top to bottom):

  1. 7: Metal token icon (gray gear) with the number 7.
  2. 8: Metal token icon with the number 8.
  3. 9: Metal token icon with the number 9.
  4. 10: Metal token icon with the number 10.

Bonus panel: a black cube in front of a gray card back, with a red X over the cube (not interpreted, see Notes) and a gold shield with the number 2.

Sheep Card

Claim spaces (top to bottom):

  1. 2: a yellow card showing a light-bulb icon, with the number 2.
  2. 3: a yellow card showing a light-bulb icon, with the number 3.
  3. 3: a yellow card showing a light-bulb icon, with the number 3.
  4. 4: a yellow card showing a light-bulb icon, with the number 4.

Bonus panel: three gray card backs side by side, each showing a light-bulb icon; two of them carry a red X below, the top card carries a red circled 0, and a black down arrow sits below them (not interpreted, see Notes). Below the pictogram is a gold shield with the number 1.

Notes

  • Claim spaces. Each card has four spaces, each with a requirement icon and a number. Placing a Disc on a space follows the base rulebook's Claiming an Objective section: you must meet the requirement shown in the space you want to occupy, you cannot use Wild tokens to claim it, and you can place only one Disc of your color on each Objective card.
  • Interpretation: the number in a space. The base rulebook's example (Claiming an Objective) reads a numbered space as a threshold: the next player "must have dug at least 4 Rooms" to claim the space after the one marked 3. This reading is applied to the numbers on these cards. The card faces do not print the words "at least" or "have", so this is an interpretation of the number as a minimum amount of the icon shown.
  • Interpretation: brown log disc = Wood token. The base rulebook lists Wood tokens among the components but does not describe their artwork. The brown log disc on the Pig Card is read as the Wood token, and the Pig Card's requirement is read as Wood.
  • Interpretation: gray gear disc = Metal token. The base rulebook lists Metal tokens among the components but does not describe their artwork. The gray gear disc on the Crow Card is read as the Metal token, and the Crow Card's requirement is read as Metal.
  • Interpretation: yellow card with a light-bulb = Advanced Invention card with the Intelligence icon. The base rulebook states that Advanced Invention cards are yellow, and its appendix lists an Intelligence icon. The bulb pictogram is not described in the base rulebook, so reading it as the Intelligence icon is an interpretation. The Sheep Card's requirement is read as a number of such cards.
  • Interpretation: gray card back with a light-bulb = Basic Invention card with the Intelligence icon. The base rulebook states that Basic Invention cards are gray. The Sheep Card's bonus panel therefore shows Basic-colored cards with the same bulb icon. What the red X, the red 0 and the down arrow mean is not stated on the card and is not interpreted here.
  • Unresolved pictograms. The following are printed on the cards but their meaning is not stated in the base rulebook and is not reconstructed here: the brown silhouette with an arrow on the Pig Card's bonus panel; the black cube with a red X on the Crow Card's bonus panel; and the red X, red 0 and down arrow on the Sheep Card's bonus panel. These pictograms should be read from the card face itself.
  • Shield values. Each card's gold shield carries one number (5 on the Pig Card, 2 on the Crow Card, 1 on the Sheep Card). They are read as Victory Points, the shield being the only numeric icon on the bonus panel apart from the claim spaces. The base rulebook's appendix lists the Victory Points icon but does not describe its shape, so this reading is an interpretation.
  • One bonus panel per card. Each card prints a single bonus panel and a single shield value, not a separate bonus for each claim space. How that single bonus applies across the four spaces is not stated on the card face.
