Understanding the Questions

We suggest that players read this classification carefully, as it makes it easier to associate ideas during play. Each card has 6 questions, and the answers are printed on the back.

Theme Categories

Each theme should be understood as follows:

M — World (Mundo) General History; General Geography; Natural Phenomena; Politics; Economy; Tourism and Religion.

AE — Arts and Entertainment (Artes e Entretenimento) Artists; Cinema; Television; Music; Literature; Painting and Sculpture.

S — Society (Sociedade) Personalities; Celebrities; Customs; Curiosities; Business; Fashion and Gastronomy.

CT — Science and Technology (Ciência e Tecnologia) Sciences; Physics; Chemistry; Mathematics; Astronomy; Biology; Zoology; Technology and Computing.

EL — Sport and Leisure (Esporte e Lazer) Athletes; Sports Modalities; Sporting Events; Hobbies and Pastimes.

Objective

Be the first player to get your pawn to the last square of the board and correctly answer the last question.

Setup

Separate the scoring chips by colour and give each player one set of 5 chips.

Each player takes a pawn of the same colour as their chips and places it on the START (INÍCIO) square of the board.

How to Play

The players decide among themselves who will start the game, by answering the first question. The player to the left of the one who is going to answer takes the top card from the deck and asks the first question.

The START square allows each player, in turn, to choose the subject of the question they want to answer.

Scoring Chips

Before answering, the player must choose from the scoring chips they hold how many points they want to win if they answer correctly.

The chosen chip must be discarded in the centre of the board, where it stays until all of that player's chips have been discarded.

At this point a little strategy is needed, because if the player answers correctly, they move their pawn on the board by the number of points obtained.

If the player answers the question before discarding their chip, they are penalised: they discard one chip without looking at its contents.

At the end of 5 rounds, all players recover their chips and continue the game this way, until a player wins the game.

Wrong Answer

When a player gives a wrong answer, they remain on the same square and, in the next round, answer a different question on the same theme. The scoring chip chosen for the round is lost.

The Board

All squares on the board are marked with the theme of the question that will be asked to the player.

On squares marked with two themes, the player may choose which theme they want to answer.

On the last square of the board, the player must answer a theme chosen by the other participants by common agreement.

Winner

The winner is the first player to get their pawn to the last square of the board and correctly answer the last question.

Have fun!
