General

  1. At the beginning of the game the balls are placed in the diagonal cup. Each player selects a colour. If only two are playing, one colour remains unused.
  2. The player who manages to bring all his balls into the field is the winner.

Rules

  1. The players place one ball of their own colour in turn in an indentation of a different colour. For example, a blue ball can be placed in a red or yellow indentation.
  2. Inevitably, or deliberately, two balls - it doesn't matter of which colour - are bound to end up next to each other. This is called a pair.
  3. As soon as a pair has been formed the next player has to place his ball in such a way that a triangle is created.
  4. The next player has to "Push": a) Take the ball between thumb, forefinger and ring finger. b) Bring the ball into the triangle in such a way that all three balls are touched. c) "Push" the ball in and let go at the same time.
  5. As a result of the "Push" the balls try to find new indentations - depending upon the skills of the "Pusher".

NOTE: Balls that roll into an indentation of their own colour are taken out of the game and are returned to the relevant player. (This applies to the balls of the "Pusher" as well as the balls of the other players.)

  1. The following may result from the "Push": a) If the "Pusher" did not have to take any of his own balls out of the game and there are still triangles then the "Pusher" can "Push" again. b) If the "Pusher" did have to take one of his own balls out of the game then it is the next player's turn. c) If the "Pusher" did not have to take any of his own balls out of the game but there are no triangles left then the "Pusher" places one of his balls and it is then the next player's turn.

  2. As long as there are pairs the next player has to form triangles and the next player after him must "Push".

EXCEPTION: If there is a pair on the field and the only option for the player is to make a triangle by placing a ball on his own colour indentation then he should not do so but should miss that turn.

  3. "Pushes" are only allowed when at least one ball from the triangle can roll freely.

That's it! The rules of the game have been tested thousands of times.
