With a Hacienda, can I draw the random tile and then take no face-up tile?
The rulebook only says the Hacienda tile comes before your normal turn; several players agree both choices are optional.

Yes. Both the Hacienda tile and your regular pick are optional, so you can take either one, both or neither. A tile you draw from the Hacienda must be kept, and your normal pick can only be face-up tiles or a quarry.
