Do nobles score VP, and do they count for the Fortress?
The rulebook gives nobles 1 VP and says they act as colonists for occupying buildings; several players agree the Fortress counts them.

Each noble is worth 1 VP at game end, and wherever the rules say colonist you read colonist or noble, so nobles count toward the Fortress. A building that behaves differently when staffed by a colonist, such as the Chapel, cannot be activated the colonist way by a noble.
