Can the Forest House be combined with the Hacienda?
The current rulebook's Forest House note covers the Hacienda directly; older rules forbade the pairing.

Yes. The current rulebook allows it: with both occupied you may look at the face-down tile the Hacienda gives before deciding whether to keep it or take a forest instead (returning the tile to the stack). Older rules said not to have both in play together, so check which rulebook your group uses.
