Overview

In Project: ELITE, many of the components included in the core box and expansions are interchangeable, allowing players to create their own unique and exciting adventures.

As a rule of thumb, to use a Terran Box element, players can simply swap that component with its core box counterpart (e.g. a Boss Stats card and its figure with another Boss Stats card and its figure).

Bosses

To use the Alien Bosses included in the Terran Box, simply replace any core game Boss with Terran Box's Boss during Setup, provided the chosen Mission does not require a specific Boss. Remove the discarded Boss Stats card and figure from the game, and add the new Boss's instead.

Heroes

During Game Setup, instead of selecting a Hero from the core game, players may select a different Hero and take its figure and dashboard to use instead.

NOTE: Some Heroes' ability require Ability tokens. For that, use the generic Ability tokens.

Watchtowers

To play with Watchtowers, replace up to 3 regular Search cards with the same number of Watchtower cards during Game Setup. They can be equipped as an Item, without occupying a Weapon slot.

To deploy a Watchtower in any unoccupied Space adjacent to the Hero, allocate dice to the card's Locking slots.

During the Action Phase, any Hero adjacent to a deployed Watchtower may spend 1 Move to step on it or to leave it. While the Hero stands on a Watchtower, all their Weapons have +1 Hit die and +1 Range. Up to 1 Hero can stand on each Watchtower at a time.

Any Pushed Watchtower is destroyed and removed from the Map. If there were any Hero on top of the Watchtower when it was destroyed, that Hero is Pushed. A destroyed Watchtower is returned to the player that deployed it, and it can be deployed again in subsequent Action Phases.

Transcriber note: the printed icon before "to step on it" is a four-way movement arrow, rendered here as "Move".

Maps

The Terran Box's double-sided Map board has 2 different scenarios: the Shallow River and the Infested Ruins. You can play any of the core game's 5 Missions in these new landscapes by following the regular Game Setup and rules. The Missions are transported to a new location and the only difference in Game Setup are the Objective slots, that are as follows on the next page.
