Components

The game includes 11 cards, which have all values from 4 to 13, plus the 16. Each card also has a certain number of red points, between 1 and 4.

Setup

The cards are shuffled and five are dealt, face down, to each player. The 11th card is placed face up beside the play area and is no longer used in the game.

Goal

Score as many points as possible.

Playing the Game

Each player chooses a card and places it in front of them, face down. The two cards are revealed simultaneously. The card with the higher value wins the trick, unless its value is more than double that of the lower card. In that case, the lower card wins.

For example, if one player played the 10 and the other played the 5, the 10 wins. However, if they played the 10 and the 4, the 4 wins.

The winner of the trick places their card face up in front of them. The loser takes their card back into their hand, and can therefore play it again later in the game.

The game continues until a player wins a trick with their second-to-last card and is left with a single card in hand.

Scoring

Players count the red points on the cards in front of them, meaning the cards with which they won tricks. Cards still in hand are not counted.

Revenge Round

Players exchange their hands, so that each player holds the hand their opponent had in the previous round. A second round is played in the same way as the first.

Victory

Players add up their scores from the two rounds. The highest total wins.
