Includes
A box with 80 cards of 5 cat toy's styles (16 pieces of each).
2 dices with 6 different faces and 6 cat kibbels.
Set Up
Shuffle the game cards. Place face up in the center of the table one card for each player plus one (in case of 2 players place 4 cards).
Place the deck of leftover cards face down within reach of all players but not in the way of their movements and give the dice to the person who has most recently petted a cat.
Objective
Be the first player with two kibbles, be the player of the round with the most toys in your personal deck to get your kibble.
How to play?
-
The initial player throws the dice.
-
Be the first to solve the dice, following the criteria below. Remember: in the game we are cats use your two hands, head or elbows to be the first to capture the toy.
- Two different toys: Capture all the stacks of cards that have the toys shown on the dice.
- Double toy: Joker! Be the first to capture the piles of toys, no matter which toy is on the card, the table has to remain empty.
- A paw: Place your hand on any player's personal deck to draw 2 cards, you can also place your hand on your personal deck to prevent others from drawing from you. Remember: the other die resolves the toy.
- Double paw: Nobody move! Cats fight, no one can steal. If you try to steal from someone else you will have to pay them two cards.
-
Claim your cards, if two people are on the same card go finger by finger until you notice who is at the bottom or with more surface of the card covered.
-
Place a new card on each space, if there are still cards in the piles, place the new card on the top, that will be the one that counts when solving the dice.
-
Pass the dice to the player on the right and let the next round begin.
Too Easy?
If you take the wrong toy you will have to place two cards from your personal deck on top of the pile you tried to steal.
You Still Want More...
You can make it more challenging by using any part of your body to draw the cards. Don't forget that if more than one player is on the card, the one who has the most body surface touching the card will be the one who gets the card.
How to Win?
The round is over when all the toys are stolen. If you have the most toy cards, you will be the winner of the round and you will receive a kibbles.
If there is a tie in any round, the tied players will have to adopt a cat, whoever over the course of a month ends up with the least scratches wins the round. If they refuse to accept, they will have to roll the dice and whoever gets the first paw wins the round.
