Role Card: Teacher
The Teacher is a Role card with a purple pawn icon at the top right. It has two printed abilities:
- As an action, create a student pawn in the city you are in.
- At the start of your turn, choose either the teacher pawn or one of your student pawns. Use that pawn to do actions for this turn.
Designer's Clarifications
The following is from the designer's description of the promo on BGG (item 382181). It is not printed on the card. The printed card text above is the rule.
Setup. In addition to the Role card, you need one pawn to represent the teacher and two pawns to represent students.
Student pawns. A student pawn created by the teacher can be used to do all basic actions in the game, but does not have the special ability to create a student pawn. Only the teacher pawn can create student pawns. If you are using multiples of the same color pawn, keep track of which pawn is the teacher pawn with a mark of some sort.
Limit. Only two student pawns can be created during each game.
Shared hand. The teacher and student pawns share access to the same information and both use your hand of cards. You are still subject to hand limits.
Finishing the turn. Once you start using a pawn, you must finish the turn using just that pawn. You may choose a different pawn on your next turn.
