When my ship enters a lock holding other ships, must we group or do I push?
The designer and a publisher both said a ship with room to join forms a group.

They must group if the combined size is four slots or less, and you can't choose to push. Only when they would exceed four does the group already there get pushed forward. To avoid joining, the lock must be cleared first.
