When you reveal a danger card you may discard a Talisman to ignore it and discard it without effect. A card with a red background counts as a danger card even without an exclamation mark, so it works on red secrets (the Stampede, for instance), which go to the open discard and may return. It does nothing when the card would cost you nothing. A helper's Talisman may be spent on the card the helped player revealed.
