Add it to your group and keep it until its requirements are met. It is not a tribesman, so it cannot take wounds or be fed. The mushroom only needs to be in the graveyard by any means; then you pay a talisman token to destroy the card for its rewards. If the mushroom is already there, the group owner needs a talisman unless a helper pays.
