Overview
A 2-5 player game.
Components: 54 card deck, rulebook, scorepad.
Players take turns drafting/selecting cards representing different Old Testament related things with the goal of creating the best Fantasy Team possible. Some cards work well together and will generate more points, some cards might instead destroy other cards and will take away points. Players need to draft carefully to score the most points at the end of the game!

*Categories of cards include Leader, Location, Prophet, Regular, and Thing.
Setup
-
Shuffle the deck of cards and place 5 cards out face-up for all players to see. This forms the Draftline from which the players will draft/select a card each round.
-
Give each player two secret cards from the deck. Each player keeps one card and discards the other. The selected card is kept secret.
-
Begin the game with the player who was most recently involved in a Fantasy Draft. If there is a tie, the younger player may go first.
Gameplay
A game of OT Fantasy Draft lasts for seven rounds. Every round begins with the Starting Player and then proceeds around the table clockwise until everyone has had a turn. On each player's turn they will:
-
Take (draft) a card from the Draftline.
-
Place the card in front of themselves, forming their Drafted Team.
-
Refill the Draftline so that it has five cards.
If it is the last player's turn, do not refill the Draftline. Instead, discard the leftover cards in the Draftline, and draw five new cards from the Draw Pile.*
Finally, begin a new round starting with the player who went last the previous round.
*If at any time the Draw Pile is empty, shuffle the Discard Pile and use it as the new Draw Pile.
(An example of a partly finished 3-player game is illustrated in the rulebook.)
Card Abilities
Destroy - At game end, this card will destroy the listed cards if they are on your Drafted Team only. Destroyed cards are worth no points at game's end.
Protect - At game end, this card will protect any of the listed cards on your Drafted Team only. If this card is destroyed then it no longer protects any of the listed cards.
Animal, Food, Man, Woman - These are characteristics of the card that may affect the value of other cards at game end.
+X points for every... - At game end, this card is worth X more points for every one of the listed cards on your Drafted Team. The points might be given based on the Name, Category, or another characteristic of the drafted cards.
You may take a leftover card... - At the end of the round, before the cards are discarded, this player may choose to take one of the cards leftover and add it to their Drafted Team.
Game End and Scoring
After the end of the 7th round, players add their secret card to their Drafted Team and proceed to score their hand. To do so they:
-
If applicable, players choose which cards are Protected or Silenced.
-
If applicable, Destroy any cards that are unprotected. If a card that is Protecting another card is itself Destroyed, it no longer Protects the other card(s).
-
One by one, score each card. The player with the most points wins! In case of a tie-breaker, the player who took their turn most recently wins.
Clarifications
Secret Card - Before game's end can I reveal my Secret Card? Yes, if you have a card that could help you out midgame, you may choose to reveal it anytime to take advantage of its ability (Jezebel for example).
Silence - How does Silence work? If a card has been Silenced, then act as if it has no Rules. For example, a Silenced card cannot Destroy or Protect or another card and no longer receives Bonus Points.
Moses - What does Moses's ability mean? Moses gains points for every unique number from 1-10 in a player's Draftline. So if a player has cards with the Starting Points value of 1, 3, 4, 4, 6, 7, 10, and 14, Moses would be worth an additional 18 Points.
Scoring Example
Jonah protects the Men, Women, and Animals from Famine while Music protects David from Saul. Nothing protects from Snake so Adam, with Base Point of 1, is Destroyed.
Saul scores 28 points for having both David and Music. Music is worth 8 more points because of the two Leaders and its total points are doubled to 20 because of David. Jonah, Snake, Famine, David, and Isaac are all worth just their Base Points (no Bonuses), giving the player 98 Total Points.
