Loamy Landscape (FL1)

Header. Top left of the card: a restriction reading "only on Clay Mound", a cost of 3 coins (shown as a coin in a grey box), a shield symbol showing 2 with the letter A beneath it, and a house symbol showing 0 (the dwelling value). Top right: the card name, Loamy Landscape. The card is marked FL1 in the bottom left corner.

Card text (as printed on the card):

Switch 2 goods indicators and then:

  • Icon: a round plate holding three goods tokens (a brown clay token, a yellow token and a white token), followed by a black arrow labelled "1×".
  • Choose one, with the options separated by slashes: a red card showing clay bricks / a green card showing a sheep / a yellow card showing wheat.

Notes on the Card

  • The card is only placed on the Clay Mound. The "only on Clay Mound" line in the header is printed as part of the card, not a rule added by this transcription.
  • The card's instruction is "Switch 2 goods indicators and then:". The French side prints the same instruction as "Interchangez 2 marqueurs Bien et ensuite:", which confirms that "goods indicators" is the correct English term (the goods indicators are the markers on the production wheel described in the Ora et Labora base rules).
  • The graphic under the instruction shows the goods tokens and an arrow marked "1×", and the three coloured cards below it. The base rulebook does not explain these icons, so they are transcribed as pictured. The text that follows the icons is shown exactly as the card prints it, and no additional meaning has been supplied for the icons.
  • The slashes between the three card icons are read as separators between the options, meaning one of the three may be taken. This is a judgment call made from the printed layout; no further rule is printed.
