In a two-player game, do the heroes take separate turns?
The rulebook says the turn is shared by the whole party.

No — the party shares one turn. Both heroes spend time together and take the same action (explore or enter a room). Each hero keeps a separate dice pool and uses only their own dice for their own skills; the heroes only combine dice to fill a wide box or to make a heroic die.
